Sin Without Pleasure – A Timely Reminder for the Modern Muslim

We live in an age where sin has never been easier — or lonelier. Temptation is one scroll away, and yet the emptiness that follows never quite goes away either. Sin Without Pleasure speaks to exactly this reality with honesty, warmth, and quiet wisdom. This book gently reminds us that wrongdoing, however appealing it may appear in the moment, never delivers what it promises. Written in clear, accessible English, this Islamic book is for anyone who has ever felt the gap between who they are and who they know they could be — and wants to do something about it.

What Makes This Book Unique?

What sets Sin Without Pleasure apart is its rare combination of simplicity and depth. This is not a book of dry legal rulings or dense theology — it is a heartfelt, grounded conversation about the human soul and its struggles. Drawing directly from Qur’anic teachings and authentic Hadith, this Islamic guidance book invites you to pause, look honestly at your habits, and understand how the small choices you make every day are quietly shaping your faith and your character. It does not lecture. It reflects — and in doing so, it moves.

If this book stirs in you a desire to go deeper — to hear directly from Allah — you may also explore: Qur’an Translation with Meanings (Uzbek Edition)

Guidance from the Qur’an

And for those who worry they have strayed too far, Allah Himself answers:

“Say: “O ‘Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh: verily, Allâh forgives all sins. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

If you disclose your Sadaqât (alms-giving), it is well; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, that is better for you. (Allâh) will expiate you some of your sins. And Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do.

And those who, when they have committed Fâhishah (illegal sexual intercourse) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allâh and ask forgiveness for their sins; – and none can forgive sins but Allâh – and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know.

Allâh burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. “Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maulâ (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”

That door is never closed. This book is one step toward it.
