Surah Al-Qāriʻah

In The Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari’ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), (Quran Surah Al-Qāriʻah 101:1)

What is the striking (Hour)? (Quran 101:2)

And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? (Quran 101:3)

It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, (Quran 101:4)

And the mountains will be like carded wool, (Quran 101:5)

Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, (Quran 101:6)

He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). (Quran 101:7)

But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, (Quran 101:8)

He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). (Quran 101:9)

And what will make you know what it is? (Quran 101:10)

(It is) a hot blazing Fire! (Quran 101:11)
