Aqeedah / Creed

Aqeedah / Creed, also spelled Aqidah or Aqeeda, is an Arabic word that refers to the core beliefs and tenets of Islam. It encompasses what a Muslim must believe in their heart with certainty. Aqeedah deals with matters of faith, such as belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Day of Judgment, and the divine decree.
